This is the first book in the trilogy. We meet Mina. She has experienced many horrors in her life; yet, she manages to take care of herself and her loved ones. There's so much suspense with the twist and turns and secrets, it definitely leaves you wanting more. The fact that this is in the same world as The Black Widow Academy, makes this so much better! Can't wait for the next one!!

REVIEW

 Zhavia was a rookie cop. She had recently lost her husband and was just existing in the the world. She met someone who completely rocked her world but this mysterious stranger had a lot of secrets of his own. Zhavia ended up at an Academy where they master the art of seduction and assassination. There  also are punished with by the Masters for any wrongdoing. To make matters worse, the other "little spiders" are encouraged to be violent.

This was a fantastic series! I didn't know what to expect, but ended up losing a lot of sleep reading this. I loved the journey of our FMC, She started off not knowing where she belongs to take no crap from anyone. She's sassy, tough, a bit broken broken but a survivor and her guys are a bit broken as well. These are definitely not your normal academy books, pretty dark at times but really had me wanting more.

When Jackie's dad goes MIA, she is left in charge of running his brothel. What she didn't expect was to find out he has secret debts that need to be paid. She gets an unexpected visit from Bourbon Streets own, Oliberos Coven, who basically run the streets. Not only does she have them after her, she has to deal with unexpected attempts on her life from someone else. 

This is my first story by Quirah Casey and she totally knocked it out of the park. Naturally, I'm a bit hesitant about settings being so close to home, but this was definitely a hit. I easily visualized everything (and low-key tried to guess the districts lol). She took Bourbon Street and made it her all own.  Amazing job! This had the same feel as True Blood meets Domino & Harlots. I seriously enjoyed every minute of it and can't wait to see what happens next.
