I just got off the hot mess express and landed in dysfunction junction...Holy Sh*t! I sooo need more after that cliffhanger!!! There's so much action, twist and turns, steam, violence, and plain badassery. I'm literally on an emotional roller coaster ride. On one hand, I understand she's going through a lot and that's her way of coping with everything (by pushing everyone away). On the other, I'm like "girl, what the hell are you doing?" Or "NOOOO, don't do that!! 😭" But, I never thought I would be so pissed at Lukas. Here I am wanting to reach through my phone smack some sense into him lol. R.E Bond did such a fantastic job at character development and world building.  This story is absolutely an incredible and wild ride.

Blighted Heart is the second book in the Primordials of Shadowthorn. This immediately picks up where the last book left off.  I started this book this morning and just finished it. I could not put it down. The thrill of all of the action and suspense was insanely amazing. Plus, Jessaca is a legit queen at epic worldbuilding with amazing storytelling. Fantastic story!! Vicious Savage is the debut book by the sister duo, Blaire Wynters. My, My, My, this is the perfect title to describe this series. The intensity was raw, brutal, had me thinking these guys are such cavemen lol. 

Note: if you are looking for some warm and fuzzy groveling, you are not going to find it here (at least, not right now). Although, I was low-key hoping to see what the hell is going through these guy's minds, this was a very unique story. We followed two different couples, through the eyes of our tough FMCs.  One thing we can all agree on is that Chad, definitely lives up to his name...a douchebag. Definitely loved the writing style and can't wait to see what happens next.

This is one of the most bazaar, hilariously entertaining stories in this season, so far. Riley is such a fun character. She kind of reminds me of more badass version of April Ludgate from Parks and Recs...especially, when it comes to animals.

I'm so loving this shared universe. I binge read this all in one night. This story hooks you from the very beginning. There was a wide range emotions from the very beginning. I experienced some anxiety, anger, sadness, deep/heartfelt conversations to hilarious, laugh out loud scenes. Loved it!! We also had cameos from the first story in this series. Her foster mother is rude and masty towards her and blames Mazey for her daughter's death. Mazey also runs into her wife's brother Phoenix, who she has a past with, especially on the night of her wife's death. 

This is my first story by Ciara Fineman. It was a very unique story. This isn't your average "triangle", however, a struggle of moving forward and holding on to the past. This story was heartbreaking, raw, and realistic. If you are looking for a happy ending, this is not the story for that.

This is Dark mafia romance done right! Wow!! 

The story focuses on Nikolai and Arianna, who are in rival mob families. There was sooo much action, drama, and off the charts chemistry between both characters! This is my first story by Aurora Black and she completely knocked it out of the ball park. I hope to read more from this author!!

Whelp!! I literally finished all 5 books in almost 3 days. I just couldn't stop! I swear, if I can give this story more than 5 stars, I totally would. This my first Amo Jones book/series and I am now a huge fan. This series has everything; lies, secrets, deceit,  twist and turns, possessive alphas who don't know how to deal with feelings, scorching heat, violence, overcoming trauma. It's intense! I'm going to recommend this every chance I get.

Scarlett was your average 27 year old, making her way through life. She had work, responsibilities, and a possible coffee addiction. Her world was flipped, when she found an injured crow. She nurtured it back to health until she realized there was more to this creature than meets the eye. 

It was a bit slow building, however, once it picked up there was no way I was going go stop. There's suspense, mystery, some funny parts. This is a pretty easy and quick read. And that cliffhanger, man, was not expecting that!! Can't wait to read more!!

Love, Love, love this one! We first met Neve at the end of Ember and it was awesome to get to know more about her. She was new to the town to take over her father's business or lose her inheritance. She comes off as a snobby rich girl, but she has so much depth to her. This magical town has brought some meaning to her life by bonding her to four mates. These seem to get better and better each books. I cannot express how enjoyable all of these stories are.

Tw: domestic violence/abuse flashbacks Destined to Hide is the first book in The Shifting Society series by two amazing authors. This can be read as a standalone. Olivia gathered the courage to escape her abusive fiance. Only to find herself in a car accident. She was rescued by three wolf shifters. Little did she know, she was their mate. Totally enjoyed this book! I had so many emotions. My heart broke by how vicious and tormented Olivia was treated by someone who was supposed to love her.
