Scarlett was your average 27 year old, making her way through life. She had work, responsibilities, and a possible coffee addiction. Her world was flipped, when she found an injured crow. She nurtured it back to health until she realized there was more to this creature than meets the eye. 

It was a bit slow building, however, once it picked up there was no way I was going go stop. There's suspense, mystery, some funny parts. This is a pretty easy and quick read. And that cliffhanger, man, was not expecting that!! Can't wait to read more!!

Tw: domestic violence/abuse flashbacks Destined to Hide is the first book in The Shifting Society series by two amazing authors. This can be read as a standalone. Olivia gathered the courage to escape her abusive fiance. Only to find herself in a car accident. She was rescued by three wolf shifters. Little did she know, she was their mate. Totally enjoyed this book! I had so many emotions. My heart broke by how vicious and tormented Olivia was treated by someone who was supposed to love her. Where to start? Ok...first off, Happy Release Day! Although, it was yesterday...but congrats! 

Nina is a lone wolf and has been on the run for most of her life. She works and blends in with humans.  She's had a violent history with her former pack and trust never came easily. When she runs into a former pack member, who is now an alpha, he is willing to do anything in his power to forcefully make her his mate. To her surprise, she ends up bonding with another shifter (s) from another pack 

Another amazing start to this new series by Helen Scott. It was a bit slow beginning, however it was build up of Nina's and why she didn't trust anyone. Fantastic world building and character development. And the cliffhanger!  Can't wait to see what happens next.
