She gets an unexpected visit from Bourbon Streets own, Oliberos Coven, who basically run the streets. Not only does she have them after her, she has to deal with unexpected attempts on her life from someone else.
This is my first story by Quirah Casey and she totally knocked it out of the park. Naturally, I'm a bit hesitant about settings being so close to home, but this was definitely a hit. I easily visualized everything (and low-key tried to guess the districts lol). She took Bourbon Street and made it her all own. Amazing job! This had the same feel as True Blood meets Domino & Harlots. I seriously enjoyed every minute of it and can't wait to see what happens next.
