I binged both books in 2 days! Brutal boy is the second installment in the Willow Heights Prep Academy. This immediately follows the event of book 1. After a video went viral, Harper had to deal with the aftermath. This meant that Royal's possessiveness got worse than before. I really want to dislike Royal, he's such an asshole, like 90% of the time. Then, there were times where Harper would break down his walls and he became vulnerable and I'm all like "damn it"

One things for sure, the adults in this town are uber creeps (specifically, Mr. Dolce, MrD)

OMG! I was completely blindsided that bombshell that was just dropped. I wasn't expecting that. Can't wait for the next one!

Harper has had a difficult life. She lived on the wrong side of the tracks, away from the wealth and prestige. A place where danger lurked at every corner and she longed to escape. She was willing to do whatever it takes to get out. After being caught in a compromising situation, Harper's life couldn't get any worse.

This is my first story by Selena and so, I wasn't sure what to expect but wow! Absolutely, incredible. I couldn't put this one down. I really can't really say this a bullymance (at least, right now) but this is more of a story of survival. Harper is such a strong, independent character. She can not only handle her own, but she's street smart. I love that in a character. This unknown contract, keeps me on my toes, I love the whole mystery behind that. Can't wait to see what happens next.

This is the second book in the Vengence series. This begins where the first book left off. Raven/Charlotte had exacted her revenge on those who wronged her sister. Fast forward 4 years later, her past catches up with her with a lot of surprises thrown in the mix.

I am literally trying to wrap my head around what the hell just happened. One of my toxic traits is to easily become emotionally invested in the story and characters, and this one hit me right in the feels. I am definitely not one for <spoiler> surprise pregnancy/baby trope </spoiler> but this one is absolutely fantastic! That cliffhanger had me tearing up.

This was a freaking fantastic start to this series! This was so much darker, more gritty than Wings of Darkness and light series. 1000% my jam!! I truly loved everything about this. Let me tell you, C. Rochelle made this even more perfect by dialing up the steam by a lot, by giving us more m/m scenes!! All of these characters are so complex and with raw feelings and emotions. But that major cliffhanger!! Ahhh, can't wait until the next one!

Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect. I wasn't completely drawn in from the very beginning. However, I am soooo glad that I decided to continue. This was a really cute, light-hearted, fun story. Sloan is such a strong character. The banter between Sloan and Nix was so hilarious. Their chemistry was absolute perfection! Loved it!
