This was my first book by Lea Jade, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I looove vampires, so I was very excited for this book. It definitely did not disappoint. This was such a fast and fun read with incredible worldbuilding . It also had very likable characters. I am looking forward to see what happens next!

Lex, Roselyn's father, had a huge gambling problem and owed a debt from the money he stole from Mob underboss, Devious. The way to repay the debt was a forced marriage between Roselyn and Devious.

"I fell in love with the devil. It doesn’t matter to me who he was because I saw the real him. Not just the evil side, but the good side."

Roselyn and Devious kind of gave me Drogo/Daenerys vibes. There was a push and pull and he was a bit of an asshole for most of the book. But he did warm up and treat her a lot better.  However, there really wasn't really any chemistry between them. I did enjoy the plot and loved the whole mafia setting. The ending fell a bit flat for me too. Overall, It was an enjoyable story and did love the side characters. I do hope we see more of them.
