Mason and Winter were childhood sweethearts. They were also the children of rival families. After a few years, they kept their love secret and made long distance work. When one event happened, their love turned into hatred and their family rivalry grew into something more dangerous, more vicious, and more brutal.
This is actually my first book by Nikita and I'm totally hooked.
I'm still deciding whether I like Winter or not. She's a girl who has had the world however, A LOT of crap dropped on her shoulders and people after her. I am excited to see her glow up and see her rise as a boss b*tch that she was meant to be, because that's the feel I get from this character. Mason, he's hella toxic. Buuut....if you know me, I love my toxic alphaholes. I hope she brings him to his knees and makes him grovel something fierce.
