What do you do when you find a centuries-old dead woman in the basement?

Come to Forgotten Hills Cemetery and Mortuary and find out!

When Thana and her sisters reclaim their ancestral home, they have dreams of making it a thriving business. Little do they know they’ll also be dealing with a curse, a ghost, and uncover a family legend.

Together they must expose the secrets buried in Forgotten Hills—without killing anyone in the process

After their aunt dies, Thana and her sisters move back to their childhood home, a mortuary, as the new owners.

When Thana finds the preserved body of a young woman in the morgue, she and her sisters become determined to find out who she is and where she came from.

Meanwhile, Thana reconnects with her childhood sweetheart, Draven, who becomes another piece of the puzzle, and the sisters find themselves amid a centuries-old curse and in possession of several long-kept family secrets.

Why is death stalking their family?

And how can they stay one step ahead of it?

Thana and her sisters were no stranger to death. They spent every summer of their childhood at a mortuary/funeral home owned by their aunt. Also, their special hangout was a cemetery. They were the outcast of the town, but one boy didn't seem to mind. After the aunt's death (several years later), the Muerticillo sisters returned, only to find that their aunt withheld information about their heritage. Secrets, curses, betrayal are revealed and their lives will never be the same again.

Forgotten Hill is a story had the perfect blend of gothic horror/paranormal, romance, suspense, and unbreakable family bond, and mystery. This was really well written. It was very different from what I've normally read, but I really enjoyed this. This had "The Haunting of Hill House" vibes mixed with the "Charmed" sisterly bond. Definitely, want to check out more from this author!
