I know I’m damaged, you can’t endure torture for as long as I have and come out like nothing happened. But it would also take someone as damaged as myself to recognize it in others. 

“I’m not a little girl anymore and if you noticed it in me then you’re all damaged as well. You can’t notice it in someone else if you aren’t the same way.”
