To take her mind off of things, she ends up going skating at our magical skating rink, which activates the mate bond. This is such a cute one. It had steam, suspense, mystery, and surprise cameos.

This one, we followed a wolf shifter named Wren. She spent her whole life training to be a beta and set to be mated to her childhood love. It wasn't until one night, it completely took a 180. She was not only rejected, but she was casted entirely out of the pack. As she made her way to the city, she made a pit stop in my 2nd favorite small town, Haven.

I'm seriously loving this shared universe. It's getting better and better with every book. Also loved the cameos from previous books!! Wren was such a strong, spunky, yet vulnerable character. Amazing!!

I binged both books in 2 days! Brutal boy is the second installment in the Willow Heights Prep Academy. This immediately follows the event of book 1. After a video went viral, Harper had to deal with the aftermath. This meant that Royal's possessiveness got worse than before. I really want to dislike Royal, he's such an asshole, like 90% of the time. Then, there were times where Harper would break down his walls and he became vulnerable and I'm all like "damn it"

One things for sure, the adults in this town are uber creeps (specifically, Mr. Dolce, MrD)

OMG! I was completely blindsided that bombshell that was just dropped. I wasn't expecting that. Can't wait for the next one!

Harper has had a difficult life. She lived on the wrong side of the tracks, away from the wealth and prestige. A place where danger lurked at every corner and she longed to escape. She was willing to do whatever it takes to get out. After being caught in a compromising situation, Harper's life couldn't get any worse.

After receiving a message from an unknown and pretty suspicious contact, her life changed for the worse. She may have ended up in the most elite Academy in that small town, but that always comes with a price. She comes face to with the newest family to, not only rule the entire school, but the whole town.

This is my first story by Selena and so, I wasn't sure what to expect but wow! Absolutely, incredible. I couldn't put this one down. I really can't really say this a bullymance (at least, right now) but this is more of a story of survival. Harper is such a strong, independent character. She can not only handle her own, but she's street smart. I love that in a character. This unknown contract, keeps me on my toes, I love the whole mystery behind that. Can't wait to see what happens next.
